cykeologistAthena Cykes has a very good ear when it comes to hearing the littlest of things along with the emotions hidden in people's hearts. Of course, this is also due to the assistance of her on-hand gadget, Widget! Of course, like anything, Athena's gift is not perfect and is prone to two things: human error, hacking, and supernatural abilities!
So, here's a little permissions that I'd like for you guys to fill out.
In the end, it should look like this:

If yes, can she hear lack of emotions or conflicting emotions? Definitely. Especially since Blackquill knows he gets off scotch-free, but is only going on word-of-mouth here.

Can Athena hear them from far away? Probably, Jean is a fifteen year old; he's plenty emotional.
Anything else I need to know? Jean is head over heels for Marco (they're official here) so any time he talks about him, Athena will definitely notice.

Can Athena hear their emotions? Not adverse to it, however I haven't finished the game as of yet, so I'm uncertain as to what extent this entails. I wouldn't be surprised if Integra is a little more difficult to read than most (if only because her default expression is indifference), so I'll leave that up to your discretion.

Anything else I need to know? I'll give you a heads up when/if something comes up. She is a tsundere type, who may have conflicted feelings she is not consciously aware of herself, and I don't even know how that would register on the Athena scale.

Anything else I need to know? Seeing Petra's actually dead, she's especially nervous whenever she has to talk about it, but has been good about hiding it. She hasn't looked too much into her death even though she knows who killed her, and prefers to ignore it though she still sometimes has nightmares about it. Other than that, she's extremely truthful and values trust, unless she has to cover up for someone!

Anything else I need to know? Earlier Mikasa's "accidentally" confessed to Eren but gotten rejected, and while she says accepts it, she probably doesn't really know what to think of it so any talk about Eren will probably get a lot of conflicting emotions. WHAT ARE FEELINGS?

Can Athena hear their emotions? Weeeeell, November doesn't really have emotions. Or rather, he does, but they're very muted and don't come out without a lot of development. So, there's not really anything to hear.
